How to Buy and Exchange Chips in GTA Online?

Chips are the currency used inside the Diamond Casino & Resort to participate in gambling activities and make purchases in the casino store. They can be bought at the cashier or by ordering services via the phone in your penthouse. The cost of one chip is 1 GTA$. You can also exchange chips back into money at the same rate. There are no restrictions on trade in chips, but there are limits on how many chips you can acquire:

without membership — 0 chips,
with Standard Membership — 20,000 chips per day,
with VIP Membership — 50,000 chips per day.

You will receive 5,000 chips as a starter bonus for purchasing Standard Membership, which costs only 500 GTA$. Additionally, after that, you can collect a daily bonus of 1,000 chips from the cashier, but only with one character. There are two other ways to earn chips: winning at the Lucky Wheel and completing Miss Baker’s missions, which are given via the phone.

To check how many chips you have, go to the casino. Your chip balance will be displayed in the top-right corner, below your money amount. The maximum number of chips in hand is 2 billion.

The denomination of chips can be identified by their color: red chips — 100; blue chips — 500; yellow chips — 1,000; green chips — 5,000.
