- Make a new save. Make a backup copy of your progress, making sure you don't save after entering cheats. The thing is, using codes will affect your ability to earn achievements. Some cheats are also irreversible, so you will need a clean save point to return to.
- Enter the code. To activate a cheat, enter the corresponding button combination on the keyboard or controller without pausing the game.
- Successful activation. If you did everything correctly, a small pop-up window should inform you that the cheat is activated.
