No More GTA 5 And GTA Online Selfies Or Mugshots As Avatars

A new technical article has appeared on the Rockstar Games Support website, though it is not yet publicly accessible. It concerns the removal of another feature. Unfortunately, the developers tend to announce such changes only after the fact.

Starting March 9, players will no longer be able to use Snapmatic selfies or mugshots taken in GTA 5 and GTA Online as their avatar on Social Club. The corresponding category will be removed from the selection menu. Those who have already set (or will set within the next week and a half) such a profile picture will be able to keep using it.
