0For Mafia fans, the year kicked off with the developers declaring their commitment to omertà. What followed was complete radio silence — until now.
It has been confirmed that representatives from Hangar 13 will appear at PAX East 2025, held May 8–11 in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. Their panel is scheduled for the very first day, Thursday, at 11 AM PT / 2 PM ET / 7 PM BST / 8 PM CEST. That’s when they’ll showcase a gameplay trailer and behind-the-scenes content. A live stream is also planned, along with a Q&A session addressing questions submitted under the corresponding post on Steam.
After that, we may be in for another three-month wait. Someone let something slip — an early Spanish-language post on Steam (now deleted) mentioned a potential release date for the game. If nothing changes, Mafia: The Old Country is set to launch on August 8, 2025.
August gives us the Mafia prequel, and come October – November, it’s time for GTA 6?
