Nearly 12 Years Later, GTA 5 Reaches Saudi Arabia and the UAE

0Tomorrow, July 17, 2025, just two months short of the 12th anniversary of GTA 5 release, the game — along with GTA Online — will officially launch in two Eastern countries where it was previously banned: Saudi Arabia and the UAE. The PS4 and PS5 versions will go on sale with a 21+ age rating, the highest anywhere in the world.
It was also reported that Advanced Initiative, Nintendo’s partner in Saudi Arabia, has secured the publishing rights for all Take-Two products in local markets. This likely paved the way for GTA 6 to appear in the PlayStation Store across several Arab countries:
- Bahrain,
- Kuwait,
- Lebanon,
- Oman,
- Qatar,
- Saudi Arabia,
- United Arab Emirates.
