GTA Online Patch: Dead Rabbits, Trophy Room, and More

Today, the first post-DLC patch for GTA Online was released. It is available on all supported platforms:

More than two dozen bugs and issues encountered over the past week have been fixed. Some of them were quite noteworthy.

• In the next-gen versions, players could hear the dying screams of animals while inside their new luxury properties. The reason was that rabbit spawn points had not been removed under two mansions: 14 in Vinewood and 1 in Tongva Hills. As a result, animals would spawn and immediately die, producing a horrifying sound.

• Due to the 32-bit integer limit, players with more than $2.14 billion could not access the Nine Figures, Half a Bill, and Three Comma Club trophies in the trophy room.
• CEO Work and MC Work forced players to leave the Mansion area.
• A god mode exploit related to aircraft.

One fix that stood out was related to the Mansion Garage. Many players reported that after using it, their personal vehicles lost HSW Performance Upgrades, special liveries, and other modifications. The developers have prevented further incidents, but were unable to resolve the cases that had already occurred. As a result, players will have to reinstall everything manually. The only option is to contact Rockstar Support and specify which vehicles lost their tuning — there is a chance the upgrades can be restored.
