GTA 6 Release Date

GTA 6 was announced on February 4, 2022, as new Grand Theft Auto entry.

Officially name was revealed only on December 5, 2023, alongside Trailer 1. That’s when the approximate release date for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S was also shared — sometime in 2025. Reports indicated that the developers were initially aiming for the early months of the year but eventually settled on a fall release.

However, time passed, and there was complete silence about Grand Theft Auto VI. In early May, roughly half a year before launch, it was declared that the game had been postponed — to May 26, 2026.

Another six months later, in November, GTA VI was delayed for the second time — now scheduled for release on November 19, 2026. As for the PC version, it’s expected even later — most likely not before the end of 2027.
