The dealer deals two cards to both the player and themselves from four shuffled decks of 52 cards, but only one of the dealer’s cards is face up. The winner is the one who gets closest to 21 without going bust. The dealer stands on 17.
Value of the Cards:
Blackjack (an ace and any ten-point card) is an instant win. If it occurs for the casino employee, they immediately reveal their cards. If it’s for the player, they receive a payout of 2.5 times their bet. If both have blackjack, it results in a tie — the player gets their bet back (this also happens in the case of a tie in points).
