RDR 1 has the Best Soundtrack of the Past Year, According to Steam Users

On the last day of the year, the winners of the 2024 Steam Awards were announced. The results, as usual, sparked considerable discontent within the community, even though it was the community that cast the votes.

Red Dead Redemption was a finalist in the Best Soundtrack category, where it claimed victory, beating out Horizon Forbidden West: Complete Edition, Fate/stay night REMASTERED, Frostpunk 2, and Silent Hill 2. The absurdity is that only one title from this list was fully released last year — the rest are remakes, remasters, or ports (like RDR 1) of games that were already shipped earlier.
