There Was No GTA: SA Code Leak

Over the weekend, rumors emerged that the source code of GTA: San Andreas had been leaked to the Internet. However, this is not entirely true. Vadim M. clarified the situation.

In 2022, someone tried to exchange the GTA: SA code for the GTA 5 code, sharing 4 screenshots and a FileList.txt that are now resurfacing and being offered to anyone interested in purchasing the GTA: San Andreas source code. However, the password-protected archive gtasasc.7z (4.82 GB in size), which the sellers claim to be the code, is a fake. It’s a fairly straightforward scam.
