GTA 3 — Definitive Edition to return to PlayStation Plus Game Catalog

Tomorrow marks the start of Days of Play, during which tournaments will be held and consoles will be sold at discounted prices. New titles will also be added to the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog for subscribers of the Extra and Premium (aka Deluxe) tiers. In two weeks, on June 10, a remastered version of GTA 3 — part of the GTA: Trilogy — Definitive Edition — will be added. There is no official word on how long it will stay, but based on past experience, it’s safe to assume it will be removed from the library in six months, in November.

This will be the second time PS4 and PS5 players get the chance to experience Claude’s adventures in Liberty City without purchasing the full collection. The first opportunity came in December 2021, shortly after release, when the service still had a different name. Later, in 2022 and 2024, Vice City and San Andreas were available.
