From Remedy’s financial report for the first half of the year one would like to know more details about the Max Payne 1&2 Remake. However, once again we only see a brief and rather dry statement.

The Max Payne 1&2 remake project continues its progress and remains in full production. In the second quarter, the team built on steady momentum from earlier in the year. Collaboration with R* remains close and productive, ensuring alignment as the project advances toward its next major phase.

It has already been more than three years since the announcement. Why do we continue to receive only minimal information about the video game? Perhaps the reason lies with Rockstar Games, a company well known for its strict secrecy when working on titles, and the Finnish studio is simply acting in line with the overall strategy of its funding partner.
