gamescom 2025: GTA 6 Mentioned and GTA 5 Actors Appear

1Yesterday in Cologne, Germany, a grand opening ceremony of the gamescom exhibition took place. The three-hour-long show featured plenty of new trailers for upcoming video games.
From the list of companies, it was known in advance that Rockstar Games would not be among those presenting anything new. However, there were still a few surprises. During the presentation of The Outer Worlds 2, a release date was announced (October 29), with the honest admission that this became possible thanks to the delay of GTA 6 until spring of next year. Everyone in the industry already understands that the massive shift in release schedules happened because of this one single project, but this is perhaps the first time it was stated so openly in public.
But that’s far from everything. The event itself will run until the end of the week and will feature many exciting things. One such highlight for Grand Theft Auto fans will be the appearance of actors from GTA 5. Ned Luke, who played Michael, is already on site and promised to bring a friend along. Together they will be meeting fans today and tomorrow, August 20 and 21. Who the partner will be remains a mystery. The most obvious guess is that it could be Shawn “Solo” Fonteno (Franklin) or Steven Ogg (Trevor), Michael’s partners in GTA V. But from a recently published video featuring Ned, Shawn, and an actor from Breaking Bad TV series, it seems that Mr. X is Gerald “Slink” Johnson, who provided the likeness and voice of Lamar.
