GTA 6, GTA Online and Mafia: The Old Country at the Golden Joystick Awards 2025

Today marks the start of the second voting stage at the Golden Joystick Awards 2025. In 21 categories, anyone can vote for the best games that made it past the first round.

• GTA 6 is nominated in two categories: Best Game Trailer and Most Wanted Game. The latter could be a repeat win — Grand Theft Auto VI already took this award in 2024.
• GTA Online appears in the Still Playing Award (PC and Console).
• Mafia: The Old Country is up for Best Storytelling.

Everyone who votes will also get the chance to receive a free digital edition of one of several magazines (sent later via email), each normally priced up to $19:

• Retro Gamer Presents: The RPG Book,
• The Big Book of Nintendo,
• 100 PlayStation Games To Play Before You Die,
• Ultimate Guide to Roblox,
• Retro Gamer Book of Arcade Classics.

Voting runs until October 31. From November 3–7, the next stage begins — choosing Ultimate Game of the Year. The winners will be announced on November 20 at the awards ceremony.
