Teaser, Title, and New Details on the Upcoming GTA Online DLC

0Developers have teased fans with a 16-second teaser for the upcoming GTA Online expansion A Safehouse in the Hills, scheduled for release on December 9.
When the camera cuts to Vinewood Hills, we first see four new vehicles that will join the game’s already extensive lineup. Next, the shot lingers on one of the mansions — the one currently under construction next to Miguel Madrazo’s estate. It looks very similar to the place where Devin Weston lived; it’s essentially the same project, though some color choices and interior/exterior details differ. A few more things can be spotted in the new and previously released screenshots.
To the datamined information already revealed — that the interior will allow Parties similar to the Casino Master Penthouse and that Arcades can be installed — should we now add security at the entrance? At least one of the images shows a guard, while others don’t. Previously, this feature didn’t exist.
The teaser also shows that the property will include a pool, a jacuzzi, a lounge area, and a helipad (spotted thanks to the fifth screenshot) on the roof. But the most curious detail is that one of the rooms isn’t a separate loading zone, unlike other player-owned properties. This has sparked speculation as to whether the devs are testing a seamless world system for GTA 6. It’s still unclear how that would work when multiple players in the same session own the same mansion.
It also seems the question of how many mansions will be available has finally been resolved. Spanish and Korean versions of last week’s press release state there will be three new mansions in total. This lines up with the number of new missions in the New Listings series (two of which are tied to construction site locations). So it appears Prix Luxury Real Estate won’t be offering anything else — not the [Playboy] mansion in Richman, nor any other options.
