Yesterday, we didn’t rule out the possibility of some breakthrough GTA 6 news. But why would the developers kill the hype around the new GTA Online expansion, right? Meanwhile, a few things have quietly changed in the game itself.
  • Because the DLC was pushed back by one day, the dates for this week bonuses for everyone and this month bonuses for GTA+ subscribers have shifted as well — all now ending December 10.
  • Yesterday, the loyalty program rewards from the Luxury Prix real-estate agency were removed. Instead of the Übermacht Revolter with the Sessanta Nove Monogram livery, the Luxury Autos showroom now features the Übermacht Niobe.
  • New Listings missions has been disabled. These missions only made sense before the mansions were finished, though they easily could’ve save them in by just moving the final marker in the second mission. Or at least kept them until the update actually launched. But no — the devs chose otherwise. They’ll never return.
  • As for the construction sites where two new high-end homes are being built, they’ll disappear forever as well — but only after the properties go live.
For the past couple of years, players could pre-load expansions a few days early to cut down waiting time on launch day. But first on PS4, and now on all other platforms, that feature has been removed. Constant leaks kept slipping online, and Rockstar Games finally shut the door on pre-loads altogether to avoid spoilers ruining the experience.

One nice tradition has survived, though: you don’t need PlayStation Plus to access multiplayer. Anyone on PS4 or PS5 can jump in right now without a paid subscription. No one knows how long this will last, but we expect it to run for about two weeks — through December 22. Want to spend Christmas and New Year in GTA Online? Then you’ll have to pay up.
