GTA Online to Add Community Mission Series and a Special Fan Job

In August of last year, GTA Online split the Community Series into two categories: Combat Community Series and Community Race Series. After the addition of the Mission Creator in December, a third category seemed inevitable — Community Mission Series.

And now the developers have officially announced its arrival. It will launch on Thursday, April 30, alongside a new bonus week. The first mission, Old School Hits, inspired by the original GTA: Trilogy, was created in collaboration with the well-known fan resource GTA Series Videos. It will be available for a limited time.

To celebrate the debut, the mode will offer four times the usual rewards — 4× GTA$ and RP. However, it will initially be limited to next-gen versions only, meaning the new mission will be available exclusively to players using PC Enhanced, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.

To have your mission considered for selection, you’ll need to include the tag #communityseries when publishing it.

Creators whose work gets featured will receive a special set of rewards:

• Community Series Varsity Jacket;
• Spotlight Mansion Trophy;
• GTA$ 10,000,000.
