50Two years ago, when the mobile version of GTA: Trilogy — Definitive Edition was released, the collection also became “free” for Netflix subscribers. Last December, the remastered versions of GTA 3 and GTA: Vice City were removed from the service’s game library — and today the same fate will befall the remaster of GTA: San Andreas. From now on, anyone who wants to keep playing will need to purchase the full version.
According to figures published two weeks ago, the game reached 57.4 million downloads (+10M in three months) — the highest result among all Netflix Games titles, accounting for 15% of the service’s 396 million total downloads.
However, fans do have a worthy replacement — Netflix subscribers can now enjoy RDR 1, which was added in early December.
Most likely, after this, the mobile version of GTA: San Andreas — Definitive Edition will appear in the GTA+ game catalog — it’s the only part of the Trilogy that the service still doesn’t have.
