GTA 5 (together with GTA Online) has appeared in the list of games that will be removed from the library on the Xbox Game Pass page.

This will happen on April 15. Until then, players still have one more week to enjoy it on any platform: Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and even via cloud gaming. The PC version also supports the alternative multiplayer platform FiveM. Anyone who wants to continue enjoying the blockbuster after that date can purchase it with a 20% discount.

This time, Grand Theft Auto V remained in the subscription for exactly one year, although it previously rotated with Red Dead Redemption II every six months.

Interestingly, according to leaked Xbox documents from 2023, one month of Grand Theft Auto V being available in the subscription may cost Microsoft $12–15 million, which corresponds to approximately 30 million hours played. Meanwhile, RDR 2 costs around $5 million per month and generates roughly 10 million hours played.
