A TV series based on the Fallout franchise is rightfully considered one of the best video game adaptations to date. Fans can’t wait for the second season, which premieres in just a couple of days — on December 17. In the meantime, the cast is busy promoting the show and giving interviews.

During one of these interviews, Ella Purnell and Kyle MacLachlan were asked whether they would play GTA 6. The actor didn’t answer, while the actress said she would give it a try, though she generally prefers less intense games than Grand Theft Auto — something more relaxing. She especially enjoys playing Concrete Genie, which she considers a perfect way to spend a Sunday morning.

Concrete Genie (2019) — a PS4 exclusive — makes use of various DualShock 4 features (and also includes a VR mode). It’s not always convenient, but it is creative. Players paint the walls of an old, abandoned town with magical paint, bringing genies to life. These genies fool around, pull funny faces, and are simply charming to watch.

As the story unfolds, the theme of bullying is explored in a surprisingly engaging way, even though it receives slightly more attention than the plot itself might initially suggest.

There are some minor flaws, such as incorrectly drawn shadows for a crane and inaccurately depicted containers when viewed from above, but these are trivial details. What really matters is that the game is fun and genuinely relaxing. We recommend Concrete Genie to anyone with a PlayStation 4. It’s suitable for children aged 10 to 100+.
