Freddie Gibbs May Appear in GTA 6

A journalist from PC Gamer met with influencer HipHopGamer, who shared a couple of details that allegedly relate to GTA 6.

First, he hinted that the game will feature a side mission involving a well-known rapper who recently accidentally cut wrestler CM Punk during the filming of the horror movie Night Patrol (2025). He was referring to Freddie Gibbs — an artist with established ties to Rockstar Games, who has been invited to the developers’ livestreams in the past. In GTA 5 / GTA Online, players can already hear as many as seven of his tracks:

• Freddie Gibbs — Still Livin’

• MC Eiht & Freddie Gibbs feat. Kokane — Welcome to Los Santos
• Popcaan feat. Freddie Gibbs — Born Bad

Second, the influencer is convinced that Grand Theft Auto VI will create a new wave of millionaires. According to him, this will be driven by user-generated content (UGC), which is expected to play a major role in the new Online.

As for the source himself, HipHopGamer has been a longtime collaborator of Rockstars dating back to 2012. He has also appeared in the company’s livestreams and, three years ago, met with Strauss Zelnick, the head of Take-Two. Even back then, he spoke about how incredible GTA VI would be. So it cannot be ruled out that he genuinely knows something. That said, how much weight should be given to his claims in this case remains an open question.
