GTA 6 Will Bring Record Revenue to PlayStation

0In Sony latest financial report, the company forecasts that the current PlayStation fiscal year, ending in March 2027, will deliver record profits and become the first in four years to fully recoup investments made into the brand. And it’s all thanks to GTA 6.
Despite the overall rise in console prices, analysts expect the period to generate $3.7 billion in profit — $0.6 billion more than the previous year. While the report does not explain the reasons behind the projected growth, it is clear that it will be driven by major fall releases such as the exclusive Marvel’s Wolverine and, of course, Grand Theft Auto VI, for which PlayStation has a special marketing agreement with the developers.
