1Update from February 9. PSN was restored overnight, but the reasons for the outage were not explained. The disruption lasted less than 24 hours. As compensation, PlayStation Plus subscribers will automatically receive 5 additional days of service.
It’s been 18 hours since PlayStation Network servers went down. When launching their consoles, users receive a notification about technical maintenance. However, this is an unscheduled outage, as no prior announcements were made. Shortly after the incident, company representatives acknowledged the issue but did not provide any details. What happened and when the problem will be resolved remains unknown. For now, players are unable to access GTA Online, Red Dead Online, other multiplayer games, and even some single-player titles that require a constant connection to PSN.
