Rockstar Games Underpays Its Workers in the UK

The UK authorities have published a list of 389 companies that underpay their employees. One of them turned out to be Rockstar Games. The management failed to pay a total of £1,396.73 to five employees, thereby violating minimum wage laws.

On the one hand, it’s quite surprising to see the developers of Grand Theft Auto on this list. For a multimillion-dollar company like that, that sum hardly seems significant. On the other hand, there may have been an error in the calculations. For comparison, the top two “leaders” are company that underpaid their staff by more than £2 million!
