Preparing for the Next-Gen Update of the PC Version of GTA 5 and GTA Online

0On Tuesday, March 4, all PC owners of GTA 5 and GTA Online will receive a free update that will upgrade the game to the next-gen version. In preparation for this, developers have begun making necessary adjustments.
Last Thursday, on the day of the announcement, it was revealed that a new client for upgraded players appeared on Steam. Meanwhile, in the Rockstar Games Launcher, the standard version has been renamed Grand Theft Auto V Legacy.
Later, it was discovered that the updated version will be listed as GTA V Enhanced, and RGL will receive several changes, including the integration of FiveM, GTA+, and a connection to Rockstar’s official Discord server.
Additionally, players should prepare their computers if they want to fully enjoy the technical improvements. This means ensuring that their hardware meets the system requirements.
