At the Florencia III Day Center in Madrid, video games are actively used as therapy for people suffering from dementia. Staff claim that gaming improves patients’ cognitive, physical, and emotional well-being. Meanwhile, the elderly residents have a great time playing RDR 2, Undisputed, racing game, and even immersing themselves in virtual reality. They have all the necessary equipment: a PS5, PS VR2, a steering wheel with pedals, and a special controller called Access.
According to video, despite the chance to fight, drive a car for the first time, and even battle like a knight, the favorite game among Spanish retirees is Red Dead Redemption 2. One member of the group affectionately gave the protagonist, Arthur Morgan, the simple and familiar name Pepe the Cowboy.
