Second GTA 6 Reveal: Trailer 2, First Screenshots, Illustrations, and More

On Friday, following the announcement of the delay of GTA 6 to May 26, 2026, fans began to wonder why the developers hadn’t updated the release year on the official website and social media. It turns out, they were saving a lot for today. Along with the second trailer, the developers revealed numerous screenshots, illustrations, and shared details about the characters, story, and game world.

Stylistically, Trailer 2 (captured on PS5) stands out significantly from Rockstar Games’ previous showcases and looks far more impressive than the first. This time, the focus shifts from Lucia Caminos to Jason Duval (this marks the first official confirmation not only of the protagonists’ surnames but also Jason’s name), although the trailer mostly highlights the couple’s relationship. The guy waits for the girl to be released from prison, and then they’re seen relaxing, having fun, and, of course, taking part in heists together. Leonida may not be the only state featured in the game, as screenshots reveal license plates from another state — Gloriana, which appears to be a blend of Georgia and Louisiana, both neighboring Florida. On the other hand, Liberty City plates also make a brief appearance in the trailer, though it’s unlikely that the iconic metropolis will play a major role. For now, however, the official guide focuses exclusively on Leonida.

Confirmed Vice City locations, beyond previously known areas, now include Little Cuba and the Tisha-Wocka flea market.
