Take-Two Reduces LGBT Support

As noted, Take-Two annual report has removed mentions of inclusivity and diversity. Special awards previously granted to LGBT employees have been simplified. The DEI section in the document has been renamed. It can be expected that efforts such as participation in conferences like GGP (Gay Gaming Professionals) will also be scaled back.

In recent years, Take-Two actively promoted LGBT ideas across various platforms.

But why has T2 policy changed? It all comes down to the new U.S. president and his administration, which is making significant efforts to curb LGBT advocacy. American companies — even the largest ones like Disney, Google, GM, and Intel — are deliberately making such moves to avoid conflict with Donald Trump and his team.

How will this affect GTA 6? Most likely, it won’t. Of course, this doesn’t mean the game will exclude gay, transgender, or similar characters. Such figures and NPCs have appeared in nearly every Grand Theft Auto installment. However, the new game doesn’t appear to be forcefully infused with “rainbow” themes, unlike many other contemporary entertainment products.
