Starting from August 19, RDR 2 Companion App, released on October 26, 2018, is no longer available in the App Store and Google Play Store. With it, players who linked their Social Club accounts could track progress, view the map, read the journal, and more.

The in-game map in real time on iPad.

It remains available for those who downloaded it earlier, but not for new users. However, soon the app may be made unusable for everyone. It doesn’t look like the developers are preparing a new version compatible with PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. Most likely, RDR 2 Companion App is meeting the same fate as GTA: iFruit.
