Gambling in GTA Online

The Diamond Casino & Resort is the only place in GTA Online, where you can satisfy your gambling cravings with games familiar to GTA: San Andreas. Of course, there are some differences, but overall it’s quite similar. The access conditions have changed — no more skills or leveling up required. You can only access the tables and other activities after purchasing a standard membership (costing GTA$ 500, which gives you 5,000 chips), and for high-stakes tables (with purple felt), you need a VIP membership, which is an exclusive addition when buying a penthouse. However, in some countries, gambling may be unavailable due to legislation. If you encounter such an issue, it’s recommended to use a VPN.
To participate in gambling games, you will need chips — special casino currency that can be purchased at the cashier for GTA$. The exchange rate is 1 to 1, meaning one chip for one dollar. They can also be converted back into money. Exchange limits are: with a standard membership, you can withdraw up to 20,000 per day, and with a VIP membership — up to 50,000. With either membership, you can claim a bonus of 1,000 chips once a day, but only for one character — there won’t be another bonus for a second character. While playing, keep in mind that all progress is saved on Rockstar’s remote servers, and you can’t just reload a save like in GTA: SA after a loss. Any manipulations may be seen by the developers as grounds for a ban. If you decide to use glitches, exploits, or cheats, do so at your own risk.
Value of the Cards:
Blackjack (an ace and any ten-point card) is an instant win. If it occurs for the casino employee, they immediately reveal their cards. If it’s for the player, they receive a payout of 2.5 times their bet. If both have blackjack, it results in a tie — the player gets their bet back (this also happens in the case of a tie in points). After receiving the deal, there are several options for action: you can stand, hit for another card, or double down. In the first case, you’ll have to play with what you have. In the second case, you can increase your total or even try to win with a Seven-Card Charlie — this is when a player draws seven cards without busting (it’s better to aim for this when low numbers are dealt). In the third case, you receive only one additional card. There’s also a fourth option — split. This is done only when you have two cards of the same value (for example, a jack and a ten). When splitting, you can also double your bet.

You can decline one of the bets. Each player is dealt three cards from a 52-card deck. After reviewing the hand, you have the option to play (equal to ante bet) or fold. The second option is not recommended, as even with the worst cards, the dealer might not draw a queen, which means their hand can’t play. This way, you can at least recover your bet. Betting on Horse Racing (Inside Track)
Unlike in GTA: SA, the bookmaking office here is located right inside the casino. It has a dedicated room with a large screen and 16 computers (some of which are occupied by NPCs, while players can use the available ones). Possible bets are: 100, 200, 300, 400, 500, 600, 700, 800, 900, 1,000, 1,500, 2,000, 2,500, 3,000, 3,500, 4,000, 4,500, 5,000, 5,500, 6,000, 6,500, 7,000, 7,500, 8,000, 8,500, 9,000, 9,500, or 10,000 chips. You can only place a bet on one horse out of six in a race (there are 99 in the game). Each horse has its own odds. The higher the odds, the lower the chances of winning (second, third, and other places are losing), but the payout is greater.Horse Names and Their Odds
