MindsEye: Blacklisted and Price Cuts

On Tuesday, April 28, Build A Rocket Boy released the previously announced mission Blacklisted for MindsEye, in which players take on the role of contract killer Julia Black. The mission is free and available on all three platforms — PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. Judging by the reaction — or rather, the lack of it — the promised “bombshell revelations” teased by the studio’s management failed to make an impact. Players noted that the mission contains references to supposed “evidence” against the alleged “saboteurs”, but overall the new storyline offers little of real interest.

What is more interesting is that the game’s price was reduced alongside the update:

• Standard Edition — from $60 to $35;
• Deluxe Edition — from $80 to $48;
• Deluxe Edition Upgrade — from $30 to $18.

Regional pricing on Steam is even lower. Despite that, the game’s peak concurrent player count over the past week reached only 42 people.
