Dynamic Pricing for GTA 5 and RDR 2 in PlayStation Store

Even back in November last year, PlayStation users began noticing that prices for some video games in the digital store were different. This happened even when the region, currency, and the console itself were exactly the same. The only difference was that one account bought more games, while the other bought fewer.

Back then, Sony began testing dynamic pricing. Today it is active in more than 70 regions, including the United States and Europe. Nearly 200 video games are involved in the experiment, including titles from Rockstar Games.

The dynamic price for GTA 5 can be 25–32.5% lower than the standard price, while RDR 2 can be 10% cheaper.
