Rockstar Racing and the Attempt to Repeat Their Success at the Nürburgring

On Saturday, June 1, the 52nd annual Nürburgring 24 Hours race, one of the most famous in the world of motorsports, kicked off. After their triumphant debut in 2022 and a break last year, the Rockstar Racing team (also known as Viken Motorsport), partially made up of GTA developers, took part again. Unfortunately, they couldn’t repeat their previous result — they finished 84th overall (out of 130+ cars) and second in their class, just 2 seconds behind the winner. While there was a chance that the competitor could be penalized, it didn’t happen. Nevertheless, this was an excellent achievement considering the challenging weather conditions on the track — the competition had to be interrupted at times due to heavy fog.
