GTA 6 Digest: New Theories, Fake Audio, and GTA+ Promo

6These days, fan expectations are sky-high. The Take-Two financial report is coming the day after tomorrow, and before that, the community was genuinely hoping for the third GTA 6 trailer and the opening of pre-orders.
People have come up with all kinds of arguments for why November 4 would be a key date. Some even brought up the moon theory, based on the latest illustration from GTA Online. Allegedly, the position of the moon in the image perfectly matches this Tuesday’s night sky. In reality, though, the lunar phase can vary depending on where you are, so it can’t serve as a universal date marker. Besides, we already know Rockstar Games loves to poke fun at this sort of speculation — and they’re definitely trolling the fans again. Click-hungry creators even stitched together a low-quality fake audio clip, mixing George Harrison’s Got My Mind Set on You with voice lines from three-year-old leaks (did they really think we wouldn’t notice?) — and tried to pass it off as a snippet from the upcoming showcase. Another rumor suggested a second delay. That’s still possible, says Kiwi Talkz, a well-known interviewer of game developers. According to him, employees from various studios (Edinburgh, San Diego, Bengaluru) have given conflicting statements — some say they’re targeting May 26, 2026 for release, others that another delay might be needed.
Meanwhile, the reliable insider Tez2 remarked that instead of stressing about potential delays, fans should be ready to translate preview articles from French, Italian, Spanish, German, and Japanese as soon as they drop. Could it be that exclusive coverage for media outlets worldwide is just around the corner?
The hype reached a boiling point a few hours before today’s news, when the PlayStation Store page for Grand Theft Auto VI suddenly featured an ad for the paid GTA+ subscription.
And, as anyone familiar with Rockstar’s posting schedule could’ve predicted, the day ended with something much more ordinary — the monthly Red Dead Online bonuses were refreshed.

GTA 6 could still be delayed again yet, I have heard conflicting reports internally from different devs in different studios e.g Bangalore, Edinburgh and San Diego.

I can't seem to get a consensus, it sounds like they are trying to hit it but it could be delayed again.
