Will There Be a New GTA 6 Showcase Tomorrow?

After the first delay of GTA 6, which happened nine months ago, the developers delighted fans with a ton of new content: Trailer 2, 70 screenshots, 20 illustrations, and about a dozen short teasers. Players are hoping for something similar this time. There’s even a fitting day for it — Tuesday. And 11.11 looks nice, too. But it seems unlikely that we’ll see a third trailer or another wave of screenshots anytime soon.

First, Rockstar Games doesn’t like being predictable. That’s exactly why the announcement of the second postponement happened right before the parent company’s financial report — whereas before, such news usually came several days ahead of Take-Two event.

Second, back in May, the release date (then May 26, 2026) was announced on the first Friday of the month, but didn’t appear anywhere publicly until the following Tuesday. Now, things have happened in reverse. This time, the new release date (November 19, 2026) first appeared on the PlayStation Store — but that change doesn’t come from the developers themselves. Then, gradually, it started replacing the old date on wallpapers, the official R* website, and their social media. It was even updated in the two downloadable trailers, though naturally, not on YouTube.

Of course, this doesn’t mean we won’t be surprised tomorrow, the day after, or any time soon with a new Grand Theft Auto VI showcase. But for now, it looks like the wait will be long. The release is still more than a year away, and Trailer 3, new screenshots, or pre-orders are likely far off. Maybe Rockstar will at least sweeten the wait with the first details about the upcoming winter update for GTA Online? That’s due in about a month — and last year, the update was revealed as early as November 1st. Though, to be fair, that was a Friday.
