GTA 6 Vies for Most Anticipated Game at TGA for the Second Year in a Row

Geoff Keighley has announced the nominees for all categories of The Game Awards 2025 except Players’ Voice. For the second year in a row, GTA 6 is in the running for Most Anticipated Game (competitors are 007: First Light, Marvel’s Wolverine, Resident Evil: Requiem, and The Witcher IV). It was not only nominated back in 2024, but actually won the award that year. At the time, it was still unknown that the game would be delayed — first from this fall to next spring, and then to fall again. This year’s newcomer, Mafia: The Old Country, did not make it onto the nomination list.

You can vote for Grand Theft Auto VI and other titles on the official website. The winners will be announced, and the awards ceremony will take place in Los Angeles on December 11.
