GTA 6 Review Copies Reportedly Won’t Be Distributed — Closed Preview Events Instead?

In a recent episode of the X do Controle podcast, Brazilian journalists discussed GTA 6, and one of them, Pedro Henrique Lutti Lippe, made an intriguing statement.

According to him, Rockstar Games will reportedly not send review copies or physical editions of Grand Theft Auto VI to gaming media outlets in order to prevent leaks and spoilers. Instead, the developers are allegedly planning to host several-day closed preview events for accredited journalists. A similar approach — though on a smaller scale — was previously used ahead of the release of GTA 5.
