It seems that musicians who collaborate with Rockstar Games don’t have such strict non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) — if they have them at all — compared to actors. How else can we explain the fact that yet another artist has hinted at appearing in GTA 6? We may have every reason not to believe random performers who have never been connected to the series before (T-Pain, Drake), but it’s a completely different story when it comes to those who are already part of the family (ScHoolboy Q). Now, two more names can be added to the latter group.

Neon Indian

Neon Indian founder Alan Palomo stated on the This Podcast Should Be Played Loud that their previous collaboration with Rockstar — which he described as their best experience licensing music — is not the end of the story. That’s all he could say, as he is unable to discuss the details. It remains unclear which specific contribution to Grand Theft Auto VI he was referring to.

In GTA 5, two Neon Indian tracks can be heard on the in-game radio station Radio Mirror Park. The first, Change of Coast — also included in the OST album The Music of Grand Theft Auto V – Volume 1: Original Music — served as the main musical theme of GTA Online at launch and plays during the intro sequence.
The second track, Polish Girl, was added with the game’s release on PS4 and Xbox One and is present in all subsequent re-releases — missing only from the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions.

Panama

On the official Instagram page of the Australian band Panama, a reply to a fan comment stated that their collaboration with the American group Poolside, the track Back To Life, will appear in GTA VI. The response was later deleted.

Deleted reply.

In GTA V, their song Always can also be heard on Radio Mirror Park.
