GTA 6 Trademark Registered in Brazil

Documents from Brazil’s INPI (National Institute of Industrial Property) confirm that the GTA 6 trademark has been officially registered in the largest country in South America. The application was submitted back in 2024 and was finally approved on January 27 of this year.

Take-Two asserted its rights to Grand Theft Auto VI across several categories at once:

• Video games and software;
• Entertainment services;
• Digital and online content;
• Printed materials;
• Clothing and licensed products.

After approval, under local law, the trademark is valid for 10 years. Once this period expires, it can be renewed.
